Miche Frederico found yoga while living in Los Angeles, enjoying a fun-filled, carefree lifestyle, “not knowingly looking for anything to ‘wake me up’ or ‘rock my world’…when my friend brought me to a yoga class. Whoa…not at all what I expected! …in any way!!! Physically, it kicked my butt, mentally I was present and eager to learn, emotionally and spiritually it opened me up…and I was HOOKED! It has changed my life in such a delightful way.” Miche has completed her 200 hours with Mark Blanchard Power Yoga Teacher Training, as well as200 hours in Anusara Yoga Teacher Training. Her personal philosophy is that yoga should be a practice combining the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of who we are. Her teaching and personal practices include attention to alignment and breath, to touch the physical and mental aspects. Along with an intention or theme for the practice, that will bring meaning to it, and that can take off the mat and back into our lives. The latter connects our emotional and spiritual being. “My style of yoga is challenging, yet fun! Which I believe mirrors life. Life can, by all means, be challenging at times. How do we react in these moments? If we can practice in a safe, loving environment; surrounded by others on a similar journey; to be with fear, anger, frustration, anxiety, and the multitude of other emotions that may arise as we move through a challenging sequence on our yoga mats -without freaking out, lashing out or causing harm…we can then remember when we are out in “life” how to be in these situations more calmly and effectively.” Miche has found that teaching yoga has brought her much joy in her life. “To be able to share something I love so dearly with so many people, is truly a blessing. To encourage, guide, and witness positive growth and change in my students; to be a part of those “ah-hah” moments along the way…WOW! I love to inspire people to be the best they can be.

” Her Favorite Quote: “My heart holds within it every form, it contains a pasture for gazelles, a monastery for Christian monks. There is a temple for idol-worshippers, a holy shrine for pilgrims; There is the table of the Torah, and the Book of the Koran. I follow the religion of Love and go whichever way His camel leads me.This is the true faith; This is the true religion.” Ibn Arabi
