Tina Ventrella, BSN began studying yoga during her second pregnancy as a way to offset physical restrictions placed during that challenging time period. These limitations allowed her to graciously welcome yoga into her life and open her heart immensely. Tina’s teaching reflects many years of study in Power Flow, Vinyasa and Anusara Yoga traditions, as well as brief studies in other softer styles of yoga such as Yin. She has also studied meditation, yoga therapeutics, and Qi Gong and Reiki Healing. Tina practices gratitude toward all her wonderful teachers, especially her students and her children. A few of the teachers closest to Tina’s heart are Lisa Lashuk (meditation, gentle yoga), Joe Badstein (Healer, energy work), Rusty Wells (Bhakti Yoga), and John Friend (Anusara Yoga). She enjoys teaching classes that are challenging, inspiring, oozing with alignment, and giggle inducing. Some experience in yoga is helpful but not necessary for Tina’s classes. Be ready to move, breathe, sweat, fall over, find something you may have lost, giggle and listen to all your body has to say!
Tina’s favorite quote: “Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier. Be the living expression of God’s kindness: kindness in your face, kindness in your eyes, kindness in your smile.” ~Mother Teresa
